When is there market?
- On Friday on the market square (Grote Markt).
- On Monday from May 15 to September 30.
Can I go shopping on Sunday?
Most of our shops are open, supermarkets are closed (only open before noon).
Can I walk my dog on the beach?
Dogs are not allowed on the beach from Easter (31/03/2012) till September 15, from the jettie till the foot of the dunes at the Gadeynehelling. Out of these periods, dogs are allowed on the leash.
Where to park my vehicle free of charge?
Parking is free on all public roads and squares not equipped with ticket machines and where parking is not forbidden by any traffic regulations.
When do I need to pay to park my vehicle?
- From September 1 to June 30: Saturdays, Sundays and schoolholidays between 9am and 7pm.
- From July 1 to August 31: every day between 9am and 7 pm.
- Private parkingplace.
