Blankenberge is always improving it's infrastructure to respond to the needs of disabled persons.

Public toilets

There are public toilets at the Leopoldpark and at the pier.

Public transport

At the tram- and busstops on the Koning Leopold III-plein there is a special adjusted platform for disabled persons. 

The call-bus services and the centre-busses are fully equipped to meet the needs of disabled persons. For more information, click here... 

Park

Disabled persons may park their vehicles free of charge on condition that they can present a valid 'disabled persons' parking card.

Wheelchairs

On the beach
From May 15 you can lend a fully adapted wheelchair to ride on the beach. Location: rescue station. This free service is possible every day from 11 AM till 6 PM. 
Attention! The life-guards cannot assist you!

Accessibility

In Blankenberge you can reach the beach via a hardened path near the Charlierhelling (next to the casino).
