There also is a covered children's playground, Kind City. If the weather is bad and you don't know where to go with your children, you can always drop by this playground. Children can play, jump, climb, dive and turn around in any way they like while the parents enjoy a cup of coffee in the cafeteria.

Orientationposts & children-lost-bracelets (® KBC, i.s.m. FOD BZ)
During high season, it can be quite busy in Blankenberge, especially on the beach... How many children aren't desperately in search of their parents at those moments? To avoid this problem there are so called orientationposts. The posts draw the attention of the children because of their lovely forms: a coloured fish, a boat, a banana, a train, a balloon and a house. This makes it easier for children to orientate themselves.
The Tourist Office also provides children-lost-bracelets that depict the same figure as the orientationpost. In this way, children who are lost can be taken back to their point of departure. You can also fill out their name and the exact location of the orientationpost concerned.
